Scott Brown

Chief Executive Officer

Scott brings over 25 years of business, finance, and real estate development experience to his role as Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Park Street Development Group, a hotel and multifamily real estate development company. With a strong passion for real estate development, Scott entered the industry in 2005 when he founded ABA Hospitality after a successful career in finance. During that time Scott established relationships with all the major hotel brands and many of the leading private equity firms. Scott owned and built several of the first Hyatt Place hotels in the United States and was a regular speaker at Meet the Money, the national hotel finance and investment conference in Los Angeles. Park Street has been involved with over 20 hotels within the United States. 

Based in the Bay Area and Newport Beach, Park Street is building a portfolio of lifestyle properties, both hotel and multifamily that it owns, finances and develops in iconic destinations. 

Prior to real estate development, Scott began his professional career at Merrill Lynch in San Francisco, and quickly became a top producer, overseeing over $2B in assets. After a successful 10-year career, in 2005, Scott left to follow his passion for real estate development and founded the company that has now become Park Street Development Group.

Zack is recognized as a visionary hospitality and marketing professional, a results-driven leader, and a successful builder of international private membership clubs and hotels. Recognized in 2015 by Platinum Clubs of America, and Platinum Clubs of the World as their preferred Membership Marketing Firm.

His career began at ClubCorp in 2003 where he rose to the top of the list amongst the 200+ global properties, for member retention and sales. Zack founded Private Club Marketing, Inc. in 2009 and has since been recruited by some of the world’s most iconic private members’ clubs to implement strategies to ensure long-term exclusivity and protection of those legacies – names include; Monterey Peninsula Country Club (Pebble Beach), The Riviera Country Club (Los Angeles), Gleneagles Resort (Scotland), The Vintage Club (Indian Wells), Mayacama Golf Club (Santa Rosa), San Francisco Yacht Club, Peninsula Hotels, and Montage Hotel Group, to name a few.

Bates founded Club Estates in 2019, a digital platform to connect high-net-worth golf enthusiasts and country club members to unique golf and real estate content around the globe, as well as an invitation-only and curated list of luxury golf, city, yacht, and country club real estate on the market. Reaching over 1M views in its first year.

He and his two children live in Newport Beach, CA. His passions include golf, travel, food & wine, community, and the arts, as seen through his local philanthropic work as a board advisor to Sport at the Service of Humanity (a cooperative between the Vatican, U.N., and the International Olympic Committee).

Brian Marshack

VP of Development

Over the last 30 years, Mr. Marshack has enjoyed a diverse career in the real estate development and investment industry, specializing in multifamily residential, urban infill/redevelopment, low-income housing, specialty retail, and mixed-use ventures. As a principal at Cityview Properties, a commercial real estate brokerage, consulting, and development firm, he worked on complex development and redevelopment projects in San Diego, Los Angeles, and Denver, Colorado. Notable experience includes facilitating public-private partnerships for several national retailers in California, working on acquisition, design, entitlements, and financing of new property development including multifamily residential, specialty retail, and mixed-use commercial residential properties. In addition to working in the private sector, Mr. Marshack was the founding Director of Housing and Community Development for one of Denver’s largest non-profit organizations, leading initiatives on low-income housing development, implementing a first-time homeownership program, and implementing several programs for neighborhood economic development and investments. Mr. Marshack is a graduate of the University of California, San Diego with degrees in Urban Studies and Planning, and Economics.

Peter Ward

General Council

Mr. Ward provides the interface between Park Street’s business goals and the legal processes necessary to protect its interests and intelligently manage risk. Mr. Ward brings over 25 years of experience in a variety of complex transactional issues from site selection and acquisition, through the due diligence and entitlement process up to and including construction build-out.

Mr. Ward did his undergraduate work at Yale University and the University of California at San Diego and received his law degree from the University Of San Diego School Of Law in 1986. Mr. Ward is a member of the California Bar, the San Diego County Bar Association, and the Real Property and Construction Law Sections of the SDCBA.

Pebble Creek was founded by Ryan Hauck in 2016 after an extensive career working for public and private developers. Mr. Hauck is a trusted real estate executive with 20 years of experience and a proven track record of outperforming clients’ goals and objectives. As an astute and creative development manager, combining managerial, technical, and design expertise, he has a track record of maintaining the perfect balance between the client’s global strategies, cost controls, quality, and aesthetic expectations, while driving innovation. In the last 20 years, Ryan served in key development and project management roles for large developers like Summerhill Homes (Palo Alto), Irvine Company, and Lennar Homes. Ryan is responsible for overseeing the development and construction of more than 10,000 residential units. Ryan is a partner and trusted advisor with Park Street Hospitality/Residential.
